Job Description
In this role, your key responsibilities will be:
- Develop and execute manufacturing strategies: Align production with business goals, optimise work-flows, and implement new technologies for continuous improvement.
- Drive operational excellence: Monitor production performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Ensure quality and compliance: Enforce quality standards, comply with regulations, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team: Hire, train, mentor, and motivate a diverse team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Build strong relationships with engineering, logistics, sales, and marketing teams.
The Successful Applicant
Some of the key traits and qualifications for a successful applicant are:
- Multi-site management: Prior/current experience leading manufacturing operations for a multi-site portfolio.
- At least 15 years experience in the FMCG/pharmaceutical/alco-bev industry.
- Manufacturing expertise: In-depth knowledge of manufacturing principles, processes, technologies, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and data analytics.
- Quality and compliance: Strong understanding of quality management systems, ISO certifications, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
