The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and analytically minded Inside Sales Specialist to support the growth of our Analytics & Data Practice. This role is pivotal in generating qualified pipeline, nurturing prospects, and advancing deals by positioning our data engineering and analytics outsourcing capabilities to the right buyers. You will work in close partnership with GTM Solutioning Specialists, Account Executives, and Practice Leaders to convert market interest into tangible revenue opportunities.
The Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and qualify target accounts across priority verticals (BFSI, Retail, Hi-Tech, Healthcare, etc.) for analytics and data outsourcing services.
- Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns — email sequences, LinkedIn, cold calls, and virtual events — to generate net-new pipeline.
- Develop account-level insights and personalized messaging that resonates with data and analytics decision-makers (CDO, Head of Data, VP Analytics, CTO).
- Maintain a healthy, high-quality pipeline using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) with accurate forecasting and activity tracking.
- Conduct discovery calls to deeply understand prospect pain points, technology landscapes, and analytics maturity.
- Qualify opportunities against defined ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) criteria before handoff to GTM Solutioning or Account teams.
- Nurture mid-funnel prospects through relevant content, case studies, and tailored follow-ups to keep deals progressing.
- Coordinate and schedule solution workshops, executive briefings, and demos in collaboration with the solutioning team.
- Partner closely with the Analytics GTM & Solutioning Specialist to align on target accounts, messaging, and deal strategy.
- Support RFP/RFI processes by coordinating information gathering, scheduling SME calls, and tracking submission timelines.
- Contribute to account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns by providing market feedback and buyer intelligence to the marketing team.
- Assist in preparing first-cut pitch decks, capability overviews, and introductory proposals for early-stage deals.
- Stay current on industry trends in analytics, data engineering, AI/ML, and outsourcing to engage prospects credibly.
- Track competitor offerings, pricing signals, and win/loss patterns to sharpen sales messaging.
- Provide weekly pipeline updates, conversion metrics, and activity reports to sales leadership.
- Identify patterns across prospect conversations to surface new GTM opportunities or service gaps.
The Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
- 3–8 years of B2B inside sales, business development, or demand generation experience, preferably in IT services, analytics, or data-focused organizations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline generation and lead qualification targets.
- Experience selling to senior stakeholders — CDO, CTO, VP of Analytics, Head of Data Engineering.
- Familiarity with consultative and solution-selling methodologies (MEDDIC, Challenger, SPIN, etc.).
- Working knowledge of the analytics value chain — sufficient to hold credible conversations with data practitioners and leaders.
- Cloud Data Platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure/GCP data services
- BI & Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Looker
- Data Engineering concepts: ETL/ELT, pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses
- Analytics Outsourcing: managed analytics, BI-as-a-service, CoE models
- Ability to speak confidently about data maturity journeys, common analytics pain points, and ROI of outsourcing.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in analytics outsourcing or IT managed services sales specifically.
- Understanding of the RFP/bid lifecycle and how to support pre-sales teams during competitive deals.
- Exposure to ABM (Account-Based Marketing) strategies and tools.
- Familiarity with intent data platforms (6sense, Bombora, Demandbase) to prioritize outreach.
- Knowledge of vertical-specific analytics use cases in BFSI, Retail, Healthcare, or Hi-Tech.
