Director- Infrastructure

Job Responsibilities

• Proven experience leading large infrastructure engineering teams across distributed functions
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Ability to drive transformation programs and modernization initiatives
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and crisis management capability
• Lead integration of Red Hat OpenShift with cloud infrastructure
• Drive onboarding and optimization of cloud-native workloads
• Ensure container platform scalability, reliability, and performance in production environments
• Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenStack (RHOSP/RHOSO) environments
• Architect and evolve multi-tenant, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across compute, network, storage, and security layers
• Drive redhat OpenStack initiatives and infrastructure availability and up time
• Define and enforce infrastructure architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks

Required Skills

• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing teams across infra engineering team
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on ownership, automation, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with senior leadership on cloud strategy, roadmap, budgeting, and platform evolution
• Drive cross-functional alignment with product, security, and enterprise architecture teams
• Deep expertise in OpenStack services:
• Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Swift
• Strong experience with:
• Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Docker
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, Python)
• Distributed storage systems (Ceph preferred)
• Monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)

Qualifications

• 15+ years of overall experience in infrastructure engineering, cloud platforms, or enterprise infrastructure operations.
• Experience in managing redhat openstack infrastructure
• Exposure to hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments
• Experience in cloud service provider, or enterprise-scale infrastructure setups
• Certifications in OpenStack, Kubernetes, or Cloud Architecture (optional)
