Job Description

Job Title: Senior HR Manager

Location: Hyderabad

Experience Required: 15+ years

Reporting To: Director – Human Resources

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to labor-intensive environments, union relations, compliance, and workforce planning. This role is key in driving people strategy, enhancing productivity, and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives for manufacturing operations.
  • Lead end-to-end HR operations: talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and L&D.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage industrial relations, including union negotiations and grievance redressal.
  • Partner with leadership to drive workforce planning, succession, and retention strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement in HR processes and implement HR best practices on the shop floor.
  • Manage HR budgets, headcount planning, and manpower cost optimization.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and performance-driven work environment.
  • Prepare and present HR reports, dashboards, and analytics to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • MBA/MSW/PGDM in HR or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of HR experience, with at least 8 years in a manufacturing setup.
  • Proven experience in managing IR/ER in a unionized environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, statutory compliances, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on approach with a track record of working closely with shop-floor teams.
  • Ability to manage change, build culture, and implement strategic HR initiatives.
