Job Description

Role Purpose: Lead HSSE support for Business Development, Transitions, HSSE attrition management and Culture Development Initiatives. This role reports directly to the West Asia HSSE Geo Head.

What this job involves:

Business Development & Client Support:

  • Lead HSSE technical support for Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses, ensuring comprehensive safety solutions are integrated into client proposals.
  • Develop HSSE strategies and methodologies that differentiate JLL's service offerings in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to identify safety-related opportunities and value propositions for prospective clients.

Transition Management & Account Support:

  • Provide expert HSSE guidance during client onboarding and transition processes for new accounts
  • Ensure HSSE Transition tasks are delivered for all new accounts and existing accounts portfolio expansions
  • Develop site-specific safety protocols and emergency response procedures for new locations
  • Ensure seamless integration of HSSE standards across expanding portfolios
  • Ensure the Corporate HSSE inductions are carried out for all new accounts and existing accounts portfolio expansions

Safety Culture Leadership:

  • Implement and champion behavioral-based safety (BBS) programs across all India operations
  • Effective implementation of incident reporting systems and ensure thorough investigation protocols
  • Design and deliver comprehensive safety culture training programs for employees at all levels
  • Lead JLL's unique BBS program OTST initiatives and ensure consistent implementation
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety performance through data analysis and trend identification
  • Ensure Global HSSE KRIs are tracked for WPM India accounts on monthly basis and reported to West Asia HSSE Platform Lead for safety program effectiveness

Standards & Compliance:

  • Ensure all WPM accounts under transition are aligned as per respective client and/or JLL Global HSSE Standards
  • Provide HSSE audit and inspection support as required
  • Support teams with HSSE risk assessments and control solution identification

Communication & Leadership:

  • Establish effective relationships with business leaders, account teams, and Clients
  • Secure development of positive, proactive HSSE culture across all WPM operations
  • Provide guidance and advice on health and safety risk management at all levels
  • Lead HSSE communication forums and stakeholder engagement activities

  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and show foresight in relation to existing and potential problems.
  • Computer literate with a knowledge of commonly used software programmes, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to research and produce management information and specialist reports making recommendations as appropriate.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to balance competing demands and to meet deadlines.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to identify trends and identify the root causes of any problems.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Recognized HSE Academic qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in HSE field with proven leadership experience
  • In depth knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 14001:2015 Standards
  • Previous experience working across multiple states and managing multi-cultural teams
  • Experience managing HSSE professionals across multiple accounts and regions
  • Must be willing and able to travel across India as required
