Job Role

This role leads all marketing strategy and proposition development globally across Acuity Analytics, with a particular focus on integrating Insights & Analytics (I&A) and AI, data and digital (AD&D) capabilities.

Direct leadership responsibility for:

  • Marketing Strategy Leads (by sector / growth area)

Accountable for:

  • Marketing strategy and proposition frameworks used across the business
  • Strategic prioritisation and planning inputs to campaigns, partnerships and content
  • Strategic support to Business Units and Sales for priority accounts and growth initiatives
  • Oversight of proposition development investment and associated resources (budget held centrally in partnership with Marketing leadership)

Role purpose

The Head of Marketing Strategy & Propositions is accountable for translating Acuity's growth strategy into clear marketing priorities, structured propositions and strategic plans that support both the firm's long-term ambition and the day-to-day strategic objectives of the business units.

This role owns the development of a coherent, integrated proposition framework that brings together I&A and AD&D across sectors, use cases and client needs. It ensures propositions are clear, credible and commercially meaningful, reflecting how clients buy and how Acuity delivers value in practice.

Working as a strategic partner to Business Unit and Sales leadership, the role ensures marketing strategy supports existing client expansion, priority accounts and selective new logo growth, while providing clear direction to campaigns, content and partnerships teams.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic clarity, focus and consistency across a large, experienced team, ensuring marketing strategy is grounded in client reality, technology credibility and business priorities.

  • Acuity has a clear, integrated proposition framework that combines Insights & Analytics and AI, data and digital capabilities in a way that is easy to understand, differentiated and credible.
  • Business Units are supported by clear marketing strategy and propositions aligned to their strategic objectives and priority growth areas.
  • Marketing priorities are well defined and understood, balancing existing client expansion with targeted new logo acquisition in priority sectors.
  • Propositions are structured around real client problems and use cases, not internal capability silos.
  • Acuity's AD&D capabilities are positioned as growth enablers built on strong analytics foundations, reinforcing trust while supporting transformation conversations.
  • Campaigns, content and partnerships consistently reflect agreed propositions and priorities, improving clarity and effectiveness.
  • Sales and Business Unit leaders view marketing strategy as commercially relevant, technologically credible and genuinely supportive of growth.
  • The marketing function operates with greater confidence and consistency, supported by clear strategic direction and proposition clarity.

What this role owns

This role owns marketing strategy and proposition development globally, including:

  • Marketing strategy aligned to Acuity's growth priorities
  • Integrated I&A and AD&D proposition framework
  • Sector, use-case and account-level prioritisation for marketing investment
  • Proposition architecture and messaging across core analytics and AD&D offerings
  • Strategic support to Business Units and Sales teams
  • Direction and prioritisation for campaigns, partnerships and content teams

Key responsibilities

  • Translate Acuity's growth strategy into clear marketing priorities that support Business Unit objectives and overall firm ambition.
  • Lead the development and ongoing evolution of a structured, integrated proposition framework across I&A and AD&D.
  • Work closely with Business Unit, Sales, AD&D and Delivery leaders to ensure propositions reflect real client value and capability maturity.
  • Support Business Units in articulating their strategic priorities through marketing strategy, propositions and go-to-market focus.
  • Provide clear strategic direction and briefs to campaigns, partnerships and brand teams, ensuring alignment and coherence.
  • Balance support for existing client growth with enablement of selective new logo acquisition in priority areas.
  • Review and refine marketing priorities and propositions as capabilities, markets and client needs evolve.
  • Lead and develop a senior, India-based strategy and propositions team, setting clear direction and expectations.

Experience and capability required

Essential

  • Senior experience in B2B marketing strategy, propositions or commercial marketing.
  • Strong background in professional services, consulting, analytics as well as technology or technology-enabled services.
  • Proven experience developing structured technology propositions that support complex sales and senior client conversations.
  • Strong understanding of analytics, data, AI and digital capabilities, and how they create client value.
  • Experience partnering closely with Business Unit and Sales leadership.
  • Experience leading senior teams, ideally in a global or offshore delivery model.

Highly desirable

  • Experience integrating legacy capabilities with new technology-led offerings.
  • Experience in account-based, opportunity-led or client-centric growth models.
  • Experience in high-growth or private equity-backed environments.
