Job Description

A onceinacycle opportunity to join SEI as a senior sales leader for our first APAC office, based in Singapore. This role is designed for a proven sales leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and will play a pivotal role in shaping SEI's longterm growth across APAC. The successful candidate will be a core member of the founding team — equally comfortable setting strategy, originating and closing business, building trusted client relationships, and contributing handson across multiple dimensions of the business.

This strategic, client-facing role will be instrumental to delivering our differentiated client service model to new markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a targeted sales pipeline, owning key client relationships and positioning SEI's value proposition across APAC.

What you will do:

Strategic growth & business development:

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, targeting strategic opportunities with new fund launches and conversions.
  • Develop and execute a regional growth plan aligned with global priorities, in collaboration with Leadership.
  • Partner with marketing to position SEI's value proposition in APAC; represent SEI in industry forums, events and conferences.
  • Co-ordinate across functions to deliver effective responses to client RFPs.
  • Lead end-to-end sales activities: origination, solutioning, pricing/negotiation, and close Alternative fund administration prospects.

Client relationship ownership & service excellence:

  • Own client relationships post-sale as the primary APAC contact and escalation point, ensuring high-touch, responsive support.
  • Build deep relationships with CFOs, COOs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to cross-office initiatives, share best practices, and foster a unified culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery.

What we need from you:

  • 10-15 years of sales/BD experience with Executive-level local credibility and established relationships with senior decision makers - both in Singapore and more broadly across key APAC markets.
  • Good understanding of Alternatives fund administration, with private markets experience being a bonus, or transferable experience (e.g. from the GP side).
  • Proven track record leading the sales cycle end-to-end, delivering sustainable year-on-year growth.
  • Demonstrated success building, managing, and converting targeted pipelines; partnering with marketing on business development strategies.
  • Strong commercial acumen, executive communication skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • The successful candidate can expect a reasonable amount of business travel within APAC to meet with clients and prospects.

What we would like from you:

  • Outcome-oriented problem solver who blends strategic thinking with disciplined execution; able to translate client needs into clear action plans and measurable results.
  • Exceptional communicator and negotiator who can influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex decision processes, and resolve competing priorities with professionalism.
  • Builder mindset with strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills; comfortable creating scalable processes, and procedures in a growing office.
  • Collaborative leader who partners effectively across time zones and functions, sharing best practices and contributing to a unified global culture.
  • High standards of ethics, integrity, and accountability.

Why join us

  • SEI is a global leader in investment management services, and manages, advises, or administers approximately $1.9 trillion in assets. SEI's Investment Managers business is the largest private credit fund administrator by assets worldwide.
  • Play a founding role in SEI's APAC launch, shaping the future of our APAC business from the ground up, while leveraging the scale, technology, and expertise of a leading global platform.
  • Operate in a senior, externally facing role with direct exposure to regional leadership and global IMS executives, influencing go-to-market strategy and client outcomes across APAC.
  • Work in a culture that values integrity, innovation, and exceptional client service.
