Job Description - DU Head Automotive vertical (ERS)- Product Life Cycle Management(PLM)

Location: Bangalore, Chennai , Hyderabad, Pune , Noida

Qualification: BE/ME/MBA | Designation: Director | Sr. Director

Experience: 22+years (10+yrs in managing large delivery teams / delivery units)

Roles and Responsibilities of Offshore Delivery Head - PLM

• Manage vertical Delivery Unit consisting of multiple Accounts with 300+ employees
• Manage PLM services, from a program's delivery, people, financial and operational aspects
• Manage the budget P&L and Responsible Revenue & Margin for the PLM Delivery Unit
• Manage & grow the assigned Delivery Unit through delivery of portfolio of programs / projects of PLM Platforms (Siemens Team Center, Windchill or Equivalent & System management
• Strategize and implement yearly plan to achieve revenue and implement processes
• Drive high customer satisfaction scores, operational margins and other goal matrix parameters
• Ensure that industry trends and developments are analyzed and solutions and IP's relevant to the service area are developed to enable solution led services
• Build and mentor teams and thereby enhance competencies to ensure organizational leadership in the service area PLM, ALM, CAD, Mfg, etc.
• Drive delivery excellence in the vertical leveraging organizational level quality initiatives
• Collaborate with different service lines to provide End to End offerings and enhanced delivery experience on PLM Strategy aligned with automotive product development and product roadmap.
• Experience in managing PLM delivery programs for Automotive OEMs or Tier 1suppliers
• Work closely with both internal & external stakeholders for driving growth and delivery excellence.
• Excellent articulation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent silks in managing customers and teams with diverse culture
• Participate in customer escalation meetings, strategy discussions, RFP defense, sales-delivery planning meeting, etc.
• Responsible for building PLM Technical relationship with the customer
• Works closely with Sales team to identify opportunities for EN and NN business growth, Proposal presentations jointly with sales.
• Responsible for the Account ACSAT and Value creation
• Analyze the Automotive PLM Industry demands, and related emerging technologies.
• Implement AI/GenAI in PLM automation and AMS -App Mgmt

• Technical Expertise
• In-depth knowledge of major PLM platforms (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE).
• Strong understanding of Product Development processes, Change Management, Configuration Management, and BOM Management.
• Experience with PLM-MES-ERP integrations and APIs.
• Exposure to Digital Twin, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and Cloud PLM.
• Business & Leadership Skills
• Proven experience in leading large PLM transformation programs for automotive OEMs/Tier-1s.
• Ability to incorporate AI and Gen AI based initiative sin PLM
• Strong commercial and customer management skills.
• Ability to drive presales and strategic partnerships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• 1520 years overall, with at least 5 years in a leadership or practice head role.

Education

• Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Science).
• MBA or certification in PLM strategy preferred.
