Job Description

Job Title: Director GES Record to Decide FC&A

Location: Hyderabad, India

This role requires more than leadership oversight—we are seeking a player-coach who can step into complex accounting challenges, resolve them end-to-end, and raise the bar for finance excellence. You will have the opportunity to shape global R2R and controllership operations while partnering with senior stakeholders across the organization. Strong IFRS knowledge and a hands-on mindset are essential.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global R2R, Controllership, and Intercompany operations across multiple regions.
  • Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex IFRS and reporting matters.
  • Drive resolution of accounting, reconciliation, and compliance-related issues.
  • Strengthen governance, internal controls, and audit readiness across finance operations.
  • Lead ERP, digital finance, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Define and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance metrics.
  • Develop high-performing teams and build strong stakeholder partnerships globally.

You Bring

  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
  • 18+ years of experience across R2R, Controllership, Financial Accounting, and Governance functions.
  • Strong technical expertise in IFRS, financial reporting, and complex accounting matters.
  • Big 4 audit or advisory experience preferred, with strong accounting and controls foundation.
  • Proven ability to personally drive resolution of accounting, close, compliance, and audit-related issues.
  • Deep expertise in month-end close, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, balance sheet governance, and financial reporting.
  • Experience leading global teams within multinational, GCC, Shared Services, or GBS environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a hands-on, ownership-driven leadership style and experience driving ERP, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
