Director, GCC (Medical and Gen AI)
Domain Expertise:
- Extensive experience in pharmaceutical medical operations, medical affairs, scientific communication, or clinical/medical information ecosystems.
- Proven track record of leading large‑scale delivery centers (100+ FTEs), shared services organizations, or GCC setups in pharma/healthcare.
- Deep understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, AI‑powered medical workflows, and digital medical solutions.
- Skilled in cross‑functional collaboration across global medical, clinical, commercial, data science, and technology teams.
- Strong background in strategic growth, digital transformation, operational excellence, and governance frameworks.
You will be responsible for:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to join our team who will play a pivotal role in understanding client requirements, assessing existing ecosystems, and leading the implementation for our pharma client.
Leadership & Delivery Excellence
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery operations across medical, clinical, commercial, and digital service lines.
- Own delivery, operations, talent strategy, and growth for the GCC while ensuring global alignment and high performance.
- Build and scale cross‑functional teams across medical affairs, content, safety, clinical, digital operations, and data science/GenAI services.
- Drive AI‑enabled transformation — automating medical workflows, enhancing medical content pipelines, and improving quality standards using LLM‑driven frameworks.
Strategy, Transformation & Innovation
- Act as a transformation partner for global pharma/biotech clients, aligning GCC capabilities with client goals.
- Lead the design and implementation of GenAI‑powered solutions for medical content creation, summarization, literature review, insights generation, and medical information.
- Support capability development across emerging AI, omnichannel, data platforms, and digital medical operations.
- Establish governance frameworks, performance metrics, medical review standards, and operational excellence models across the GCC.
Stakeholder Leadership & Business Growth
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to define and execute strategic roadmaps, including innovation programs and digital medical transformation.
- Support business development by showcasing GCC strengths, participating in solutioning, and leading client discussions.
- Manage P&L, resource planning, productivity models, and operational efficiencies across the GCC.
People Leadership
- Mentor senior leaders, build domain‑specific and AI‑specific capability tracks, and create strong succession pipelines.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, agility, evidence‑based decision making, and high performance.
Your impact: About you:
- Master's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Technology, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in pharma services or healthcare consulting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in building and scaling global delivery centers or shared services organizations.
- Strong understanding of pharma commercial and medical operations, data and analytics, and digital transformation.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across geographies and functions.
- Experience in managing large teams, complex programs, and multi-million dollar portfolios.
- Strategic thinker with a bias for execution and a passion for operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent the organization externally..
