About the Role

You'll be at the center of how Pocket FM thinks, decides, and executes its financial strategy and planning. This role gives you unmatched visibility into business performance and the operating DNA of a fast-scaling global business.

What you will own

• Build and run the company's operating rhythm for finance, partnering with leaders to prepare realistic financial projections and support long-range financial planning in alignment with company goals.
• Run high-impact special projects across business units, providing analytical insights, variance analysis, and recommendations to improve P&L performance.
• Own and drive cross-functional programs that require speed, clarity, and ruthless execution, creating and managing business dashboards for real-time visibility into key metrics.
• Build and maintain the company's strategic narrative for investors and management, supporting board presentations and CXO reviews with detailed yet insightful analysis.
• Set up and strengthen FP&A processes, policies, and structures, mentoring and leading the team to deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial outputs.
• Transform how we think about content ROI, CAC, LTV, payback, margins, pricing, and operational leverage
• Design how the business approaches risk, opportunity, and capital deployment by building models that enable bold bets backed by cold, hard numbers

Who are we looking for

• 8-10 years of experience in high-performing finance environments.
• A structured, first-principles thinker with strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Exceptional at simplifying complexity and driving clarity in ambiguous environments, with a demonstrated ability to build dashboards and automate reporting.
• A high-EQ operator who can influence senior stakeholders
• Someone who defaults to action, speed, and ownership, and thrives under high expectations with a data-driven and detail-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable with balancing analytical depth with business practicality, and the ability to build from scratch.
