As the Director leading DFRC's Financial Crime and Compliance consulting sub-practice, you will define the strategic vision, build capabilities, skills and assets, establish and expand market presence, lead customer discussions and proposals and drive end to end execution of financial crime prevention and detection programs -spanning AML, Sanctions, KYC/CDD/EDD, Transaction Monitoring, and enterprise Fraud.

Role Requirements

Client Advisory

Ability to align FCC strategy with business objectives and risk appetite design TOMs and governance across compliance functions. Develop tailored roadmaps for KYC/AML/CTF, Sanctions, Transaction Monitoring, Alert and Case Management, Fraud Monitoring, Trade Surveillance and Tax Compliance.

Solution Design & Proof-of-Concept (PoC) Initiatives

Lead design and implementation around financial crime and compliance, fraud frameworks, target operating models (TOM), and other PoC initiatives.

Leadership & Collaboration
Build high-performing teams and influence global stakeholders, operate with autonomy, navigate complexity, and deliver tangible business outcomes.

Asset Development & GTM
Create consulting accelerators, offers, playbooks, and demo environments to support asset-based consulting and GTM initiatives.

Business Development & Pre Sales
Identify new opportunities collaborate on solutioning and pricing craft compelling proposals and RFP responses drive the sales cycle to closure.

Stakeholder Engagement
Build executive relationships and collaborate with technology partners integrate leading FCC platforms.

This person will have

  • Deep understanding of FCC frameworks, models, platforms, technologies and advanced ML methodologies, such as machine learning, behavioral analytics, and real-time fraud detection systems.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations in FCC domain including AI-Powered platforms and innovation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex risk issues to senior executives in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Exposure to large-scale customer platforms deals/engagements with multinational clients in the market lead conversations with clients CxOs/VPs of Financial Crime Compliance regarding platforms architecture and technology.

The candidate should have strong leadership skills with proven experience managing and developing high-performing risk management teams, and the ability to influence senior management and global teams on strategic risk decisions. The firm seeks not only a strong leader who can articulate a vision, but one who can also drive execution of that vision in a very concrete manner that results in tangible business outcomes.

The role demands a high level of autonomy a strong appetite to drive change and overcome organizational complexity and a high level of drive to build a business from its current strong foundations to a potential billion-scale business.

Primary Skills

  • 18+ years in FCC & Fraud with deep expertise in AML/KYC, Sanctions Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Case Management, and enterprise fraud prevention.
  • She/He should have experience in identifying new business opportunities within existing and prospective clients to support business development efforts.
  • Consulting experience in banking, insurance, or financial services preferred.
  • Familiarity with leading platforms such as NICE Actimize, Oracle FCCM, SAS AML, FICO Falcon, Quantexa or any other relevant FCC platforms
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS), ACAMS, or equivalent
  • Exceptional ability to simplify complex issues for senior executives strong presentation and demo skills.
