Director - Facility Management

We MINING GIANT Govt. Undertaking are seeking an experienced Director of Facility Management to oversee our facility operations in India - Dholera GUJARAT. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage the physical plant and ensure that our facilities are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations.

Note: JOb will be for a 3 Years Contractual which is extendable as per Norms & Policy

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement facility management strategies to ensure optimal operation of facilities.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations of facilities to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting related to facility management activities.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility services and maintenance contracts.
• Lead and mentor a team of facility management professionals to achieve departmental goals.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Implement sustainability initiatives to enhance facility efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• 20-30 years of experience in facility management or related field, with a proven track record of leadership.
• Strong understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety standards.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in facility management software and tools.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
