Role Purpose

We are looking for a Lead Enterprise Risk Management to establish, own, and continuously strengthen the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework across the organization. This role partners closely with senior leadership and business heads to embed risk awareness into strategy, operations, and decision-making while ensuring robust governance and regulatory alignment.

The responsibilities we entrust you with

• Establish, implement, and manage the Enterprise Risk Management framework for the organization, aligned to business strategy and regulatory expectations.
• Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive risk lifecycle covering identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and reporting of enterprise-wide risks.
• Draft, maintain, and periodically review risk governance policies, including risk appetite statements and supporting standards.
• Design, implement, and maintain core risk management tools and methodologies such as Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), operational loss incident management, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
• Partner with senior management and leadership teams to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management activities and decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with department heads and business leaders to ensure smooth and consistent implementation of ERM practices across the organization.

What matters in this role

10+ years of overall professional experience, with 7+ years in Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, or other control functions such as Internal Audit or Risk Management.

Experience in Payments, Payment Aggregators / Payment Gateways, NBFCs, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred.

Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and scaling an Enterprise Risk Management framework, including leading change management initiatives.

Technical Skills & Efficiency

• Strong understanding of widely used risk management frameworks and risk assessment methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of approaches to measure and manage Operational, Market, Liquidity, Credit, Financial, and Strategic risks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication & Ownership

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities, including Board level interactions.
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution mindset. Strong knowledge of Financial Services products and operating models
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-support skills.
