About the Role
We are hiring aDirector, Engineering Platformfor a global, product-led technology organization.
This is asenior leadership roleresponsible for owning and evolving acore enterprise platformbuilt oncloud-native, API-first, microservices architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead themodernization and evolution of a Java-based microservices platform
- Define and executeengineering strategy aligned with product and business goals
- Developtechnology roadmapsin partnership with Product leadership
- DriveAPI-first, cloud-native, multi-tenant SaaS architecture
- Lead and mentorglobally distributed engineering teams(including managers and pod leads)
- Foster a culture ofengineering excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
- EmbedGenAI adoption across the SDLCto improve productivity and time-to-market
- Ensurehigh availability, scalability, security, and performanceof the platform
- GuideERP and enterprise system integrationsto enable robust data flows and business alignment
- OverseeB2B API platform capabilities, enabling secure partner and customer integrations
- Manage engineering capacity, budgets, and resource optimization
- Lead the transition fromregional engineering silos to unified global teams
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, Sales, and other stakeholders
Required Experience
- 15+ yearsof experience in software engineering
- 6+ yearsin engineering leadership roles (Senior Manager / Director level)
- Proven experience building and scalinglarge distributed systems
- Strong background inJava-based microservices architecture
- Experience withcloud-native platforms(AWS preferred)
- Hands-on exposure toAPI design, integration frameworks, and DevOps practices
- Experience leading teams throughplatform modernization and technical debt reduction
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Solid understanding ofsoftware and infrastructure cost dynamics
- Experience working inAgile / DevOps environments
