Role Description The Director Engineering / Dean Engineering is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Gautam Buddha Nagar. This role is responsible for providing strategic direction and academic leadership to engineering programs, including curriculum development, program design, and integration of industry-relevant content. The position oversees faculty recruitment, mentoring, and performance management, while fostering a culture of research, innovation, and high-quality teaching. The Director / Dean collaborates with other institutional leaders to plan and execute academic and infrastructure projects, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, and support student success initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing departmental operations, coordinating cross-functional projects, building industry partnerships, and representing the institute in academic and professional forums.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering management and project management skills to lead programs, initiatives, and academic projects effectively.
• Proven team leadership abilities to guide faculty, staff, and cross-functional teams toward shared academic and institutional goals.
• Background in software development or related engineering domains, with the ability to integrate emerging technologies into curriculum and research.
• Experience in systems integration or technology integration to align academic offerings with current industry practices and tools.
• Advanced degree in Engineering or a related field (Master's required; PhD or equivalent scholarly profile preferred).
• Significant experience in academic administration or senior engineering leadership, ideally in a higher education or research-focused environment.
• Demonstrated record of research, publications, or industry collaboration that supports academic excellence and innovation.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
