We are looking for a passionate, talented, and adaptable strategic thought leader to craft and deliver program initiatives across acquisition that enable our customers to apply for American Express products with the least amount of effort, wherever and however they choose to apply across any market.
This role will lead oversight and delivery of a strategic acquisition modernization roadmap focused on migrating international markets to a modern acquisition ecosystem. This role will partner closely with stakeholders in Lines of Business, Technology and Control Management to drive the new product approval strategic roadmap for external integrations and market migrations to drive process efficiency and compliance outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Establish the product's goals and review success metrics to achieve commercial success
- Drive product strategy, roadmap, and bring innovation in the space
- Brainstorm and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously define feature priority
- Drive process improvements to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness, accelerating value delivery to the Enterprise and our customers
- Oversee the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
- Lead the product and platform functional design, research based on an intimate knowledge of the customer and technology
- Enable analytics-driven decision making to evolve products and usage
- Evangelize the platform as a product both internally and externally and shepherd products through the development process, advocating to achieve the best outcomes
- Drive health of platform goals in close partnership with Technology counterparts including but not limited to data governance, platform availability, skill assessment, and platform security and compliance
- Lead a team of 5+ colleagues.
Responsible for driving colleague engagement and career development while demonstrating inclusive leadership
Qualifications
10+ years of experience with end-user facing product development and management expertise, specifically from conception to delivery
Expertise with digital user experience and design experience in a global environment
Experience building and leading diverse, geographically dispersed, high-performing teams, including as a leader of leaders
Proven ability to see the big picture while driving digital transformations, leading the adoption of new ways of working,
Strategic, innovative thinker with a track record of problem solving, driving results, and constructively challenging the status quo within a highly matrixed environment
Track record of flexibility, resilience, and a strong can-do
