Position Summary
This position is part of the analytics leadership team. Someone who can work on multiple project streams and clients and applies Analytics for better business decision making especially in the area of Lifesciences/ Pharmaceutical domain.
Job Responsibilities
- Leadership Recruit, Mentor, Coach and Guide teams to implement deliver complex projects in the Lifesciences/ Pharmaceutical domain. o Project/Client Management Familiarity with the development or maintenance of systems and processes to manage sales and marketing operations such as: Sales Force Sizing, Territory Alignment, Sales Call Planning, Incentive Compensation, Sales Reporting, Business Intelligence, Patient Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Extensive familiarity with data management tools Oracle, SQL Server, SAS, R - Understanding of the Lifesciences/ Pharmaceutical data, Ability to understand complex business models, develop meaningful business insight and advise clients manage their sales and marketing operations, Ability to think in advance about potential risks and mitigation plans o Logical Thinking Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze data, problems, and situations. Must be able to guide team members in analysis. o Handle Client Relationship Manage client relationship and client expectations independently. Should be able to deliver results back to the Client independently. Should have excellent communication skills.
Education
BE/B.Tech in Statistics
Work Experience
Economics or Econometrics from Tier 1 College with a minimum of 10+ years of experience Minimum of 8+ years of relevant domain experience, preferably in Life-sciences/Pharmaceutical domain. Minimum of 1 years of relevant experience in Pharma domain. Technical: Should have 2 years of hands on experience in the following tools:
- Must have working knowledge of tools: Atleast 2 of the following Qlikview, QlikSense, Tableau, Microstrategy, Spotfire Aware of techniques such as: UI design, Report modeling, performance tuning and regression testing, Basic expertise with MS excel, Advanced expertise with SQL. Functional: Should have experience in following concepts and technologies:
- Specifics:
- Pharma data sources like IMS, Veeva, Symphony, Cegedim etc.
- Business processes like alignment, market definition, segmentation, sales crediting, activity metrics calculation
- Calculation of all sales, activity and managed care KPIs
