Director – Data Platform Engineering

We're looking for a senior technology leader to shape and scale modern, secure data and analytics platforms that power business decisions, AI, and enterprise-wide insight.

As Director Data Platform Engineering, you'll lead a high-performing engineering team, driving the vision, strategy, and delivery of cloud data platforms across technologies such as Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and AWS.

What you'll be doing:

• Defining the roadmap for scalable, reliable, and well-governed data platforms

• Leading and growing engineering teams with a strong people-first culture

• Embedding governance, security, privacy, and compliance by design

• Driving self-service, API-first data experiences across the business

• Establishing engineering standards across Python, Spark, dbt, and modern data pipelines

• Partnering with senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Risk, HR, and Operations

What we're looking for:

• Proven leadership of large-scale cloud data platform engineering teams

• Strong experience across Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Spark, Python, dbt

• Deep understanding of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks

• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or similar

• Strong architectural decision-making and stakeholder engagement skills

• A leader who builds trust, clarity, and high-performing teams
