Director Data Engineering (Presales)

We are looking for a seasoned Director Data Engineering (Presales) to lead strategic client engagements, solutioning, and presales initiatives across global markets. This is a high-impact leadership role that works closely with the founders and plays a critical part in driving business growth through technical excellence and client advisory.

• Lead end-to-end presales and solutioning for data engineering opportunities across industries
• Engage with global clients (especially GCC customers) to understand business needs and translate them into scalable data solutions
• Architect and propose modern data platforms leveraging cloud and distributed systems
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and leadership teams to drive deal closures and revenue growth
• Own technical presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and solution proposals
• Build strong relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders on the client side
• Provide strategic guidance on data architecture, cloud transformation, and platform modernization
• Support account mining and expansion initiatives
• Mentor and guide internal solutioning and engineering teams

• 1822 years of overall experience in technology, with a strong focus on data engineering and presales
• Career progression from Software Developer Solution Architect Leadership role in Data/Cloud
• Proven experience in stakeholder management, including CXO-level interactions
• Strong exposure to GCC (Global Capability Center) clients
• Demonstrated stability with 23 years tenure in previous organizations
• Expertise in designing and architecting large-scale data platforms
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern data ecosystems
• Ability to work across diverse tech stacks (no specific stack constraint)
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technology solutions to business outcomes
