Job Description

Role Purpose

The Director – Cyber Risk Quantification (CRQ) will own the strategy, product management, market positioning, and commercial success of TAC Security's Cyber Risk Quantification offering. This role combines cybersecurity expertise, product leadership, business strategy, and go-to-market execution to establish TAC Security as a global leader in cyber risk analytics.

The ideal candidate understands cyber risk frameworks, financial risk modeling, exposure management, executive reporting, and product commercialization while working closely with Engineering, Security Research, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Management

  • Define and own the vision, roadmap, and strategy for TAC Security's Cyber Risk Quantification platform.
  • Develop next-generation capabilities for cyber risk scoring, financial impact analysis, breach likelihood prediction, and executive dashboards.
  • Translate customer needs and market trends into product features and enhancements.
  • Prioritize product roadmap based on business impact, customer demand, and competitive analysis.
  • Work closely with engineering, AI, and data science teams to deliver scalable CRQ capabilities.
  • Define product KPIs and success metrics.

Cyber Risk Quantification Leadership

  • Design methodologies for quantifying cyber risk using business-centric metrics.
  • Develop financial impact models for cyber incidents, vulnerabilities, ransomware, cloud risks, and third-party exposure.
  • Build executive-level risk reporting for CISOs, Boards, and business leaders.
  • Align CRQ capabilities with leading industry frameworks including FAIR, NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enhance exposure management using AI-driven prioritization and predictive analytics.

Go-to-Market (GTM)

  • Define the global GTM strategy for TAC Security's CRQ offerings.
  • Create product positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging, and licensing strategies.
  • Enable Sales teams through competitive positioning, sales collateral, demos, and solution playbooks.
  • Partner with Marketing to launch campaigns, webinars, analyst briefings, whitepapers, and thought leadership content.
  • Drive analyst engagement and represent TAC Security at industry conferences and customer events.
  • Support enterprise customer engagements and executive-level product presentations.

Customer & Business Leadership

  • Engage with enterprise customers to understand business risk challenges and translate them into product innovation.
  • Support strategic customer workshops and executive briefings.
  • Build trusted relationships with CISOs, CIOs, Risk Officers, Boards, and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive customer adoption, retention, and expansion of CRQ solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, Threat Research, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams.
  • Work with Solution Architects to develop customer-specific CRQ use cases.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Risk teams to improve financial risk modeling capabilities.
  • Ensure alignment between product development and commercial objectives.

Innovation & Market Intelligence

  • Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats, exposure management trends, and AI innovations.
  • Track competitor offerings and identify opportunities for differentiation.
  • Drive innovation in AI-powered cyber risk analytics, predictive modeling, and automated decision support.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, product management, cyber risk, or enterprise security.
  • Proven experience building or managing cybersecurity products.
  • Strong understanding of Cyber Risk Quantification methodologies.
  • Experience with enterprise cybersecurity platforms and Exposure Management solutions.
  • Experience working with global enterprise customers.
  • Strong commercial and business acumen.
