Job Description

Role Overview

Tredence is looking for a Client Partner – Industrial Analytics to own and grow strategic industrial client relationships in India. This role is farming‑led, focused on deep account ownership, revenue expansion, and long‑term partnership building rather than pure new‑logo hunting.

The role combines strategic sales leadership, account growth, and presales team management, working closely with delivery, industry SMEs, and leadership to drive measurable business outcomes for clients across manufacturing, energy, automotive, and other industrial segments.

Key Responsibilities

Client Partnership & Account Growth

  • Act as the primary client partner for a portfolio of strategic industrial accounts in India
  • Own end‑to‑end account strategy, including growth planning, stakeholder mapping, and multi‑year revenue roadmaps
  • Drive farming‑led revenue growth through cross‑sell and upsell of analytics, AI, data engineering, and GenAI-led solutions
  • Build trusted C‑level and BU‑level relationships, positioning Tredence as a value and outcomes partner, not a vendor
  • Lead commercial negotiations, renewals, expansions, and pricing strategy in alignment with leadership

Industrial Domain & Solutions Selling

  • Understand industrial client priorities such as operations optimization, supply chain analytics, asset performance, quality, and safety
  • Translate client business problems into analytics and AI use cases with clear ROI articulation
  • Collaborate with industry SMEs and delivery leaders to shape differentiated solution narratives

Presales Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a small presales team, providing direction on solutioning quality, storytelling, and proposal development
  • Own RFP/RFI responses, solution design reviews, and value articulation
  • Ensure strong collaboration between presales, delivery, and product teams to create integrated client solutions

Stakeholder & Internal Collaboration

  • Act as the voice of the client internally, ensuring seamless execution and high client satisfaction
  • Work closely with delivery leaders to ensure commitments translate into outcomes
  • Contribute to account governance, reviews, and executive business updates

Key Metrics of Success

  • YoY account revenue growth and wallet expansion
  • Client satisfaction, renewals, and longevity of relationships
  • Quality of solutions, deal conversion rates, and deal size growth
  • Effectiveness of presales engagement and team capability uplift

Required Experience & Skills

Experience

  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, client partnering, or account management within analytics, data, AI, or digital consulting
  • Strong exposure to industrial clients (manufacturing, energy, automotive, engineering, process industries, etc.)
  • Proven track record of farming and account expansion in existing enterprise accounts
  • Experience working with presales teams and complex solution selling

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong consultative selling and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to engage CXO, VP, and senior operational leaders
  • Good understanding of analytics, data platforms, AI/ML, and GenAI value propositions (depth over buzzwords)
  • Commercial acumen with experience in structuring and closing multi‑year deals
  • Team leadership mindset with the ability to guide presales without micromanagement
