Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Quantum Computing Leader with extensive experience in Azure Quantum to drive our quantum computing initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum hardware, and the Azure Quantum platform. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative quantum solutions that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of quantum computing strategies utilizing Azure Quantum.
- Collaborate with research teams to explore and develop quantum algorithms and applications.
- Manage and mentor a team of quantum computing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Engage with external partners and stakeholders to promote quantum initiatives and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Stay abreast of advancements in quantum computing and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- Develop and present technical reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
Mandatory Skills
- Proven expertise in Azure Quantum, including experience with quantum programming languages such as Q#.
- Strong understanding of quantum algorithms and their applications in real-world scenarios.
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about quantum computing challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms and their integration with Azure Quantum.
- Experience in developing quantum applications for industries such as finance, healthcare, or logistics.
- Knowledge of classical computing principles and their relationship to quantum computing.
- Experience with machine learning and its applications in quantum computing.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 16-20 years of experience in quantum computing or a related field, with a focus on Azure Quantum.
- Proven track record of successful project management and leadership in a technical environment.
