Director / Associate Director of Finance

Job Description:

As the Director of Finance, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial health of the company

1. IPO/Fund Raise Planning: Knowledge and experience of preparing for an IPO or a Fund Raise for the organization. Shod have worked with Merchant Bankers in the past on any of the said two areas.
2. Dealing with Due Diligence: Experience of dealing with third party agencies for conducting Financial and Tax Due Diligence.
3. Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide insights to senior management.
5. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports under Ind-AS, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Communicate financial results to the executive team and board of directors. Sound knowledge of accounting of USA based company will be an added advantage.
6. Management Information System (MIS): Prepare MIS and Management Financials including analysis of numbers in line with the complete understanding of business, industry and expectation of the company management.
7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
8. Cash Management: Manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for day-to-day operations and strategic investments. Manage treasury function including Forex hedging.
9. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and manage relationships with external tax advisors. Should have experience of handling tax litigation matters Transfer Prizing Audits and TP Study Reports, etc.
10. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the finance team, including controllers, accountants, and financial analysts.
11. Financial Planning: Collaborate with department heads to develop financial plans and strategies for their respective areas.
12. FEMA and STPI Compliances: Ensure compliances under FEMA and with STPI on a periodic basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles and financial software.
• Excellent hold on MS Excel and Google Sheets, PPT, Word Docs, etc.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Educational Qualification:

• Chartered Accountant with minimum 15 years of post qualification experience of which at least 8 years in a leadership role

Other Crucial Qualification:

• Experience of working with a company that would have prepared and eventually would have gone for a IPO/Fund Raise is a must.
• Experience of dealing with Merchant Bankers and Due Diligence Agencies is a must.
