Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic and business-focused Analytics Leader to drive enterprise-wide analytics, business intelligence, and data science initiatives. This role will be responsible for shaping the organization's analytics vision, enabling data-driven decision-making, and building scalable analytics capabilities that deliver measurable business impact.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in consumer-facing industries such as D2C, Retail, FMCG, E-commerce, Food-Tech, or CPG, along with proven leadership in building high-performing analytics teams and scalable data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the enterprise analytics strategy and roadmap aligned with organizational goals and growth priorities.
  

• Partner with business and leadership teams to solve complex business problems using data-driven insights and analytical frameworks.
  

• Lead KPI reporting, dashboards, business intelligence, and analytics-driven decision-making across functions.
  

• Drive advanced analytics and AI/ML initiatives including forecasting, pricing optimization, churn prediction, recommendation systems, and experimentation frameworks.
  

• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Product teams to build scalable and reliable analytics infrastructure.
  

• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing Analytics, BI, and Data Science teams.
  

• Establish governance frameworks, operating cadences, and cross-functional collaboration models to improve analytics maturity.
  

• Ensure strong data quality, governance, compliance, and scalable analytics best practices across the organization.
  

• Promote self-service analytics, data democratization, and data literacy initiatives across business functions.
  

• Stay updated on emerging trends in Analytics, AI, and GenAI to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles managing cross-functional teams.

• Strong domain experience in consumer-facing industries such as D2C, FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, CPG, Food-Tech, or related sectors.

• Proven expertise across the complete analytics lifecycle including problem solving, modelling, insight generation, and business impact measurement.

• Experience building or scaling Analytics functions in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills, including experience presenting to leadership and board-level stakeholders.

• Hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python/R for analytics and data modelling.

• Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.

• Good understanding of ML concepts, forecasting techniques, experimentation frameworks, and data-driven decision-making methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience driving AI/ML adoption and analytics transformation initiatives at scale.
  Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
  Experience working in agile and cross-functional product-driven organizations.
  Exposure to GenAI-powered analytics use cases and modern data ecosystems is a plus.
