Job Title – Director, Engineering Manager – AI/ML

The Purpose of Your Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead delivery of AI/ML-driven applications and platforms, including Java/Python-based systems with user interfaces and cloud-native deployments. This role is accountable for end-to-end delivery, spanning application development, machine learning platforms, and Generative AI solutions, with a strong emphasis on execution discipline, scalability, and reliability.

The Expertise We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 15+ years of engineering experience including people management
• Strong Experience delivering AI/ML and Generative AI solutions is a MUST requirement.
• Driving AI/ML initiatives by aligning with engineering goals
• Working with Data Scientists and AI/ML Architects in driving solutions
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Python, and Spring Boot-based application development
• Experience building and deploying applications on AWS, including EKS/Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS SageMaker and managing ML platforms and model lifecycle
• Strong understanding of modern architecture patterns, APIs, and UI-driven applications
• Experience leading teams in structured or hybrid delivery models is a MUST requirement.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in a matrixed organization
  
  

The Skills That Are Key To This Role

• Manage and mentor resources to meet the chapter KPIs and upskilling of the associates
• Mentor software engineers on the team and ensure high stability and avoid SME gaps.
• Help and drive discussion to build technology roadmap for chapter.
• Work with product management on refining and implementation of the roadmap.
• Experience leading teams in structured or hybrid delivery models
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to operate in a matrixed organization
