We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, AI/ML to lead our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust development background in any programming stack, including but not limited to Java, .Net, Python, or Node.js. This role requires hands-on experience with AI/ML, preferably using cloud platforms such as AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or Azure AI. A strong understanding of Generative AI and the ability to manage multiple projects end-to-end is essential.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY
- Leadership and Strategy:
- Lead and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
- Develop and implement AI/ML strategies aligned with business goals.
- Drive innovation and stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Technical Expertise:
- Utilize strong development skills in programming languages such as Java, .Net, Python, or Node.js.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models and solutions.
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple AI/ML projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical insights.
- Present project updates, results, and recommendations to senior management.
- Innovation and Research:
- Conduct research to identify new opportunities for AI/ML applications.
- Encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Degrees, Diploma or Certifications in the field of AI/ML would be a plus
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in software development
- At least 3 years of experience delivering solutions with a focus on AI/ML.
- Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
- Strong background in programming languages such as Java, .Net, Python, or Node.js.
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in frameworks such as Scikit Learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Experience with cloud platforms AI Stacks like AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, GCP Vertex AI is a plus.
- Should possess robust data engineering skills in EDA, building and maintaining AI/ML data pipelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
