Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and hands-on leader to join our global consulting team. The successful candidate will be the primary strategic advisor for our clients Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) and their direct reports (CMO -1 level) in the US and Europe regions.
This role requires a deep understanding of marketing strategy, digital transformation, and the end-to-end Adobe Experience Cloud (AEC) ecosystem. The role will not only define and propose strategy but must have technical depth and hands-on experience to validate solutions, guide technical implementation teams, and troubleshoot complex use-cases on the platform.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Client Strategy & Executive Consulting
- Act as a trusted, executive-level advisor to CMOs and senior marketing/IT leaders (VP/SVP level) in the US and Europe.
- Lead high-stakes strategic conversations to define and roadmap the client's marketing automation vision, focusing on personalization, cross-channel orchestration, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Bridge the gap between executive strategy and technical execution, ensuring proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with client business goals.
- Own the quality and articulation of high-impact presentations and strategy documents delivered to executive leadership.
2. Adobe Ecosystem Technical Depth & Solutioning
- Define, architect, and demonstrate solutions leveraging key components of the Adobe Experience Cloud (AEC).
- Must have hands-on experience with implementation, configuration, and data modeling within:
- Adobe Experience Platform (AEP): Expertise in Schema XDM, data ingestion, governance, and segmentation creation.
- Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO): Ability to design, configure, and execute multi-step, real-time journeys.
- Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RT-CDP): Practical knowledge of audience creation, destination mapping, and activation workflows.
- Customer Journey Analytics (CJA): Hands-on capability to build connection schemes, custom metrics, and dashboards to prove strategy ROI.
- Articulate the value proposition of data unification and activation in driving personalized customer journeys.
- Serve as the final technical escalation point for complex strategic implementation roadblocks.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Mar-Tech consulting, digital strategy, or leading a complex marketing automation function.
- Minimum of 5 years of direct experience engaging with and advising clients at the CMO, VP, or SVP level in the US/Europe markets.
- 8+ years of deep, hands-on architectural and configuration experience across the Adobe Experience Cloud (AEC), specifically with AEP, AJO, RT-CDP, and CJA.
- Proven ability to successfully design and configure complex XDM schemas and real-time activation use cases.
- Exceptional command of English, both written and verbal, for sophisticated executive-level conversations.
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field
