Role Description The Director of Advertising Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram. This role oversees the end-to-end ad operations function, including campaign setup, trafficking, QA, optimization, pacing, troubleshooting, and post-campaign analysis across web and mobile inventory. The Director will build, lead, and mentor the ad operations team, define best practices, and implement scalable processes, tools, and workflows to support growth. They will collaborate closely with sales, account management, product, and engineering teams to ensure campaigns launch on time, deliver against performance and revenue goals, and maintain a high standard of client satisfaction. The role also involves analyzing performance data, providing actionable insights, supporting revenue forecasting, and contributing to product and monetization strategies.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Advertising Operations, including campaign trafficking, optimization, and troubleshooting across programmatic, direct, and mobile channels.
- Experience in Advertising and Mobile Advertising, with a solid understanding of ad tech ecosystems, ad servers, SSPs, DSPs, exchanges, and measurement tools.
- Background in Marketing and Sales collaboration, supporting go-to-market plans, revenue growth, and client-facing discussions on performance and delivery.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing operations teams, with the ability to create and refine processes and SOPs.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency with reporting tools, Excel/Sheets, and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience in AI-driven or programmatic advertising environments is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications in ad operations or digital marketing are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
