Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Direct Sales Executive role based in Golaghat. The Direct Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business by identifying prospects, understanding their financial protection needs, and offering suitable ABSLI insurance solutions. Day-to-day activities include meeting potential and existing customers, presenting product features and benefits, and maintaining strong relationships to drive policy sales and renewals. The role involves achieving assigned sales targets, maintaining accurate records of leads and conversions, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth policy issuance and after-sales support. The Direct Sales Executive will also participate in local marketing initiatives, conduct field visits, and stay updated on product changes, regulatory guidelines, and market trends.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain financial products clearly and build trust with diverse customers.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle queries, provide after-sales support, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Proven or demonstrable aptitude in sales, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals against defined targets.
- Basic understanding of finance and insurance concepts, or willingness to quickly learn life insurance and related financial products.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Golaghat, manage field visits, and adapt to a target-driven environment.
