Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Direct Marketing Manager role based in Kozhikode. The Direct Marketing Manager will plan, execute, and optimize direct marketing campaigns to promote Westbird Holidays luxury travel offerings across channels such as email, SMS, direct mail, and one-to-one outreach. Responsibilities include developing segmented customer lists, designing targeted campaigns, coordinating creative assets, and tracking performance against defined KPIs. The role will collaborate closely with sales, product, and operations teams to align campaigns with business objectives, seasonal travel trends, and specific itineraries. Daily tasks also involve managing budgets and timelines, analyzing campaign results, preparing reports, and recommending data-driven improvements to enhance lead generation, conversion, and customer retention.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Market Segmentation and understanding of customer profiling and targeting for premium and luxury travel audiences.
  • Hands-on experience in Campaign Management, including planning, execution, optimization, and performance analysis for direct marketing initiatives.
  • Practical experience with Direct Mail and other direct response channels (e.g., email, SMS, WhatsApp campaigns) to drive qualified leads.
  • Proven Sales and relationship-building skills to collaborate with sales teams and convert marketing-generated leads into bookings.
  • Solid Project Management skills to handle multiple campaigns, manage timelines and budgets, and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation tools, and comfort working with data, dashboards, and basic analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or luxury services marketing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, demonstrate strong attention to detail, and maintain a customer-centric mindset.
