Job Title
Digital Workplace Technology Architect

Role summary
The Digital Workplace Technology Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end Digital Workplace solutions that enable secure, scalable, and user-centric employee experiences. This role drives architecture across Modern Endpoint Management, Collaboration, Identity, Security, and Automation, aligned with Cloud-first and Zero Trust principles, and delivered through Managed Services (MSP) and Transformation engaements.
The architect acts as a trusted advisor to customers, delivery teams, and leadership, translating business requirements into robust Digital Workplace archietures.
Key Resposibilities
Architecture & Soltion Design
• Define end-to-end Digital Workplace architectre covering:
o Endpoint devices (windows, macOS,iOS, Android)
o Identity & Access (Entra ID, Conditional Acess, MFA, SSO)
o Collaboration & Productivity (Microsoft 365, Gogle Workspace)
o Endpoint Secuity & Zero Trust
• Design reference architectures, HLDs, LLDs, and solution blueprints for enterprise and midmarket customers.
• Align Digital Workplace solutions with Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and Infrastru
cture Managed Servces architectures.
• Lead tenant-to-tenant migrations, workplace transformations, and modrization programs.
Endpoint & workplace Technologies
Architect and govern:
o Mirosoft Intune
(MDM/MAM)
o Autopilot
Zero-touch provisioning o macOS management (Jamf)
o Patch, compliance, and evice lifecycle management
• Design cross-platform endpoint strategies or BYOD, COPE, COBO models.
• Standardize device baselines, polces
, and security controls.
Identity, Security & Zero Trust
• Design Zero Trust Digital Wokplace architectures incuding:
o Identity-driven access
o Device trust and cmpliance
o least privilege access
• Integrate:
o Entra ID, Okta, or hybrid identity models
oConditional Access, Defender, EDR/XDR o Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• Ensure alignment with compliance fram
eworks IO, SOC2, GDPR, regional regultions).
Managed Services & Operations
• Define DigitalWorkplace MSP operating mod
el, including:
o L1/L2/L3 support boun
daies
o Tooling, automation, and self-serice
o
SLA, KPI, and experience metrics (DEX)
• Ceate runbooks, SOPs, and automati
on playbooks.
• Enable shift-left strategiesand reduce operational toil through automation.
• Support service onbading, transition, and steady-sate operations.
Customer Engagement & Advisory
• Act as solution lad and technical authority in customer engagements.
• Lead workshops, assessments, and roadmap discussions.
• Provide architctural guidance during
RFPs, presales, and proposals.
•
Translate businesoutcomes into Digital Workplace tehnology roadmaps.
Governance, Standards & Enablement
• Etablish architecture standards, patterns, and guardrails.
• Mentor engineers and
architects across EUC and Workplace teams.
• Review desins for quality, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Stay current withvndor roadmaps and emerging Dgital Workplacetechnologies.
