Key Responsibilities:
•
Lead the digital delivery organization covering areas such as web applications, mobile apps, cloud platforms, APIs, customer portals, and agent tools.
•
Own end-to-end delivery of digital projects/programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
• Managing a team size of 100 members
Partner closely with business, operations, and global IT stakeholders to align delivery roadmaps with strategic business goals.
•
Build and scale Agile delivery models, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
•
Manage a diverse team of software engineers, architects, scrum masters, product owners, and QA professionals.
•
Champion digital innovation — bring in emerging technologies such as AI/ML, Low-Code/No-Code, Intelligent Automation, and Cloud-native solutions into the portfolio.
•
Create and enforce robust governance for project tracking, risk management, compliance (including cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory mandates).
•
Develop strong vendor partnerships for flexible delivery capacity augmentation when required.
•
Set up metrics/KPIs to measure delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business impact.
•
Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and high performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
20+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years leading digital technology initiatives preferably in insurance or financial services.
•
Strong experience managing large, distributed teams (onsite-offshore model).
•
Deep expertise in digital platforms (web/mobile), APIs/microservices, cloud development (AWS/Azure), and modern engineering practices.
•
Proven track record in Agile (Scrum, SAFe) and DevOps transformation.
•
Familiarity with insurance industry processes (underwriting, claims, policy admin, customer servicing) is a strong plus.
•
Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, and team leadership skills.
•
Ability to thrive in a matrixed, fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Skills:
•
Certifications: SAFe Agilist, PMP, Scrum Master, Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure).
•
Exposure to InsurTech partnerships and emerging tech ecosystems.
•
Experience with modernization programs (legacy-to-digital transition).
