This Position reports to:
Digital Solution Engineering Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and facilitate the development, implementation, and successful onboarding of digital solutions. Each day, you will support the adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment along with their subsequent operations and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the ideation workstreams from identifying and validating the needs to defining the development.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to Process Industries division in Process Automation business based out of Bangalore Location, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Delivering assigned MES Project scope for process industry customers like Cement & Mining.
- To ensure the project deliverables are met in terms of application quality performance & budget, while working with a team of automation project engineers.
- Carry out independently activities of basic and detailed engineering of MES systems.
- Responsible for technical deliveries in engineering, testing & commissioning of the systems.
- Carry out Engineering and commissioning of ABB's Knowledge Manager (KM) /Operations Management System (OMS) in Cement/Mining plants.
Qualifications for the role:
- B.Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed University with First Class in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics engineering.
- Required 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience in MES implementation, software programming & independently executing end-to-end MES implementation projects.
- Working experience of ABB KM System is preferred, or you must have hands-on experience on working on any other industry standard MES systems.
- Should be able to do KPI analysis, interface MES system with Control Systems, Historian systems, third-party systems, or ERP systems through OPC DA, OPC UA, /API/ or other industry standards.
- Should have basic Knowledge on Oracle database along with Java/VB Scripting Language.
- Preferable to have exposure to manufacturing process of Cement or Mining or similar.
