Job Title- CPQ Admin - Sales OR Service/community OR CPQ
Location- Hyderabad/Bangalore
Roles And Responsibilities
We are hiring a versatile Salesforce Administrator to support and enhance our Salesforce ecosystem across Sales OR Service/community OR CPQ.
This role is ideal for candidates with strong hands-on Salesforce administration experience and exposure to one or more business domains such as Sales Operations, Service Operations, or Revenue/CPQ processes.
The candidate will be responsible for platform configuration, business process automation, reporting, production support, and continuous improvement of Salesforce-driven workflows.
- Salesforce Platform Administration
- Configure and maintain standard & custom objects, fields, record types, and page layouts
- Implement:
- Validation Rules
- Flows (Screen, Record-Triggered, Scheduled)
- Approval Processes
- Assignment & Escalation Rules
- Manage roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and security model
- Perform data migration using Data Loader / Import Wizard
- Ensure data integrity, deduplication, and archival strategies
- Support sandbox refreshes and deployments (Change Sets / DevOps tools)
- Monitor system performance and governor limits
- Business Process Support (Any of the below domains)
- Sales Cloud (Sales Operations)
- Manage Lead-to-Opportunity lifecycle
- Maintain opportunity stages, forecasting, and pipeline visibility
- Build sales dashboards and performance reports
- Partner with Sales teams to optimize KPIs
- Service Cloud (Support Operations)
- Configure and manage case lifecycle (creation, routing, escalation, closure)
- Implement SLA tracking and escalation rules
- Manage queues, Omni-channel routing, and support workflows
- Monitor case backlog, aging, and service metrics
- CPQ / Revenue Cloud
- Maintain product catalog, pricing, discount schedules, and bundles
- Configure price rules and product rules
- Troubleshoot quote calculation and pricing issues
- Support Quote-to-Cash (QTC) processes
- Experience Cloud (Community / Portal)
- Configure and manage customer/partner portals
- Enable case creation, tracking, and knowledge access via portals
- Manage external user roles, sharing sets, and security
- Support portal usability and performance improvements
- Reporting & Analytics
- Build dashboards and reports for:
- Sales performance
- Case volume & SLA compliance
- Escalation trends
- Customer satisfaction (CSAT)
- Provide periodic business and operational reports
- Work with stakeholders to track and improve KPIs
- Production Support & Enhancements
- Troubleshoot issues across Sales, Service, and CPQ processes
- Resolve user tickets within SLA timelines
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Implement minor enhancements (flows, rules, configurations)
- Integration & Data Management
- Monitor integrations with external systems (ERP, billing, etc.)
- Troubleshoot integration failures
- Ensure data consistency across systems
Qualifications & Required Skills
- 2–6 years of Salesforce Administration experience
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Flows & automation
- Validation rules and security model
- Data management tools (Data Loader)
- Experience in at least one domain:
- Sales Cloud / Service Cloud / CPQ
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in handling production support environments
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, CPQ, Experience Cloud)
- Basic knowledge of Apex, SOQL, or Lightning components
- Familiarity with integrations and APIs
- Experience with DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado)
Certifications
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (Mandatory)
- Any of the following (Good to have):
- Sales Cloud Consultant
- Service Cloud Consultant
- CPQ Specialist / Admin
- Experience Cloud Consultant
