About The Team And The Role The Digital Owner team at Ather is responsible for architecting an ambitious digital finance ecosystem that serves as the company's digital nervous system. In the fast-moving Indian 2W EV market, the team is moving beyond manual processes to build a Zero-Touch finance function where compliance and controls are hardcoded into the company's growth infrastructure.

This role is for a Digital Finance leader who will own the SAP S/4HANA core and drive intelligent automation across the organization. You will be responsible for eliminating manual workarounds and building a real-time command center that provides a system-driven view of all financial metrics by interlocking data from Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Digital Finance roadmap by owning the SAP S/4HANA core and Salesforce integrations to maintain a single source of truth for revenue and operations.
• Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain to track R&D capitalizations in Jira and monitor BOM volatility via the Data Lake.
• Automate reconciliations and Internal Financial Controls (IFC) in collaboration with Digital Engineering to achieve Always-On audit readiness.
• Build and maintain an automated CFO Cockpit to provide real-time visibility into P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and Equity statements.
• Utilize Qlik and BI tools to translate complex EV unit economics into actionable dashboards for leadership decision-making.
• Develop a centralized Data Lake for financial data to transition the function from reactive reporting to predictive analytics.
• Oversee the digital ecosystem for end-to-end finance processes, including O2C, P2P, R2R, FPA, COPA, and Treasury.
• Ensure system-driven discipline across the organization to support the scaling of the Indian EV market.

Experience And Qualifications

• CA, CPA, or a top-tier MBA.
• 1215+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, specifically leading major SAP S/4HANA rollouts in manufacturing or high-tech environments.

Must Have Competencies

• Design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Digital Finance cores within complex manufacturing environments.
• Management of integrated financial processes across O2C, P2P, R2R, FPA, COPA, and Treasury.
• Development of automated financial control frameworks and Internal Financial Controls (IFC).
• Architecting centralized Data Lakes to support predictive financial analytics and real-time reporting.

Good to Have Competencies

• Integration of financial data with Engineering and R&D tracking tools like Jira.
• Utilization of Qlik or similar BI tools for translating unit economics into leadership dashboards.
• Management of Salesforce integrations to align operational data with financial systems.
• Implementation of API-driven integrations between core ERP systems and ancillary business applications.
