Digital Ops Support Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Understand the existing data flows and pipelines within the Helios warehouse.
• Absorb the domain knowledge behind the datasets in the Helios warehouse.
• Triage data gaps and bugs in production with required details towards a fix.
• Replay the data pipeline or upload missing data to fix identified data gaps.
• Apply code fixes needed to ensure data integrity within the Helios warehouse.
• Validate the data post-fix to ensure it meets expectations.
• Work with other departments to identify the right team to apply the fix.
• Collaborate with other departments to absorb knowledge about new pipelines or flows.
• Follow established business rules for the use of an application or process.
• Represent the application or process with other areas of the business that use or integrate with this part of the business.
• Seek input from relevant areas of the business that should have inputs to this application or process.
• Understand, evaluate, and react to routine problems or situations with external contacts.
• Interact within the framework of existing business policies and practices or established business relationships.
• Identify the nature of a complex or undefined problem and develop the best solution or application from numerous alternatives.

Requirements:

• Requires a college or university degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• 3 or more years of experience working in data pipeline-related technologies or data validations.
• Interpersonal skills to deal with sensitive, emotional, or potentially controversial situations.
• Familiarity with data management of an application overall.

Required Skills:

• Core skills in programming languages (SQL, Python).
• Fundamental practical knowledge of AWS services, like S3, SageMaker, RDS, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Lambda.
• Fundamental practical knowledge of Snowflake and its properties.
• Ability to understand and analyze end-to-end data flow and pipeline.
• Familiarity with database concepts.
