Value Creation in Deals (VCiD) team is looking to hire a suitable candidate for the role of Digital-Enabled Transformation (Manufacturing).

About the Team: PwC's Value Creation is a niche team providing strategic and operational advice across the deal continuum in the areas of process improvement, operations due diligence, and organization transformation including actual on-ground level implementation of strategic and operational initiatives.
About the Role: PwC Value Creation practice is evolving to embed digital capabilities within its core offerings of performance improvement, sales acceleration, and organizational transformation. We are seeking a motivated and versatile Consultant who can bridge traditional manufacturing consulting with digital technologies to help our clients unlock value progressively without disrupting their existing operations. You will work alongside experienced consultants and digital specialists to gradually introduce IoT, data analytics, automation, and other digital tools in manufacturing environments.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Partner with team on various projects to embed digital assessments and digital interventions into ongoing performance improvement, sales acceleration, and transformation projects for manufacturing clients.
- Conduct digital maturity and readiness evaluations to identify opportunities for digital enhancements aligned with client goals.
- Assist in selection and piloting of digital solutions (e.g., IoT monitoring, CRM analytics, RPA) relevant to manufacturing processes, operations, or sales functions.
- Collaborate with internal PwC teams and technology vendors to integrate digital elements seamlessly into existing business workflows.
- Develop and digitally track KPIs alongside traditional operational and sales metrics.
- Support the creation of phased digital adoption roadmaps as part of client transformation programs.
- Analyze client data using analytics tools to generate actionable insights supporting business outcomes.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and reports articulating digital value propositions clearly and pragmatically.
- Continuously upgrade own skills in digital technologies (IoT, analytics, automation) and manufacturing processes to serve as a hybrid consultant.
- Work closely with client stakeholders to manage change and ensure adoption of digital solutions in a gradual, controlled manner.
Job Requirements:
- MBA or bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred disciplines: Mechanical, Industrial Engineering).
- 5-8 years of relevant consulting or industry experience in manufacturing or operations.
- Exposure to digital technologies such as Agentic AI, IoT, RPA, data analytics, CRM platforms, or supply chain digitization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work on data-driven insights.
- Familiarity with performance improvement, operational excellence, sales processes, or organizational transformation projects.
- Ability to blend business acumen with basic digital knowledge; experience participating in cross-functional teams.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to explain digital benefits in business terms.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging digital technologies and tools.
- Experience working with clients/end-users, managing expectations, and driving gradual change.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, dynamic and multidisciplinary environment as part of a closely-knit team
- Ability to be self-directed and be an independent contributor to the team
- Willingness to travel extensively to client locations
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or programming languages (Python, SQL) is a plus.
- Understanding of manufacturing environments including shop floor operations, supply chain, quality, or maintenance.
- Familiarity with CRM or sales automation platforms.
- Experience working with cloud-based digital solutions or industrial IoT platforms including Agentic AI.
- Certifications or training in digital transformation, Lean Six Sigma, or project management.
