Job Description
Digital Content Specialist
Reports to: Head, Communications
Location:On-site, TDV Delhi (with close coordination across Nantes and Italy campuses)
Role
The Digital Content Specialist owns how TDV shows up online — across social, search, and web — turning the story of a design-led institution into content that captivates prospective students, parents, and the broader design community. This is a hands-on role combining creative storytelling with the discipline of SEO and performance tracking, working closely with admissions, academic, and design teams to keep every touchpoint consistent and on-brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Content & Storytelling
- Write compelling, audience-focused copy for web, email, blog, and ad campaigns
- Regularly edit and update website content for accuracy, clarity, and brand-tone alignment
- Translate academic and admissions milestones into stories that resonate with prospective students and parents
Social & Community
- Manage and grow TDV's social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and emerging platforms
- Build and maintain a content calendar aligned with admissions cycles, events, and campaigns
- Monitor and respond to community engagement, maintaining TDV's voice and responsiveness online
SEO & Organic Growth
- Own and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to grow visibility and organic traffic
- Conduct keyword research and on-page optimization across web and blog content
- Stay current on search algorithm changes and adjust strategy accordingly
Monitoring Paid Marketing Performance
- Track paid campaign performance across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn Ads, alongside the Digital/Performance Marketing function
- Monitor key metrics (CPL, CTR, conversion rate, spend efficiency) to spot underperformance or creative fatigue early
- Ensure paid and organic messaging stay consistent — same narrative and tone across every paid and owned channel
- Feed paid-campaign learnings back into organic content strategy, and vice versa
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with design, admissions, and academic teams to ensure content supports enrollment and outreach goals
- Coordinate with the Digital/Performance Marketing function on paid-organic content alignment
- Support Nantes and Italy campus teams with localized content needs as TDV's European footprint grows
Analytics & Optimization
- Track performance across channels using Google Analytics and platform-native insights
- Translate data into actionable recommendations — what to double down on, what to retire
- Report content, SEO, and paid-performance summaries on a regular cadence to the Head, Communications
Profile
- 3+ years of experience in digital content, marketing, or communications — ideally in education, design, or a creative-industry-adjacent space
- Strong command of SEO principles and digital publishing best practices
- Working knowledge of paid platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager) — hands-on execution not required, but comfortable reading and interpreting performance data
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an eye for visual-first platforms
- Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), social media management tools, and basic HTML
- Comfortable with Google Analytics, keyword tools, and content performance metrics
Traits
- Creative instincts paired with analytical discipline
- Self-starter who can manage a content calendar independently
- Collaborative — comfortable working across design, admissions, marketing, and academic stakeholders
- Genuine interest in design, education, and digital culture
- Adaptable to a fast-moving, growing institution with multiple campuses
