About The Role

The Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Specialist at Cave Digital Australia plays a pivotal role in developing, executing, and analyzing comprehensive marketing campaigns that support lead generation and increase sales revenue. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working independently, troubleshooting technical challenges, and thinking strategically to optimize marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital advertising platforms, SEO, ecommerce management, and content creation, enabling them to contribute effectively across multiple channels. Reporting directly to the Founder & Director, this role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the digital presence of our clients and contribute to the company's growth.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a solid track record in both B2B and B2C environments. Proficiency in managing advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok, LinkedIn, and native advertising networks is essential. Experience with ecommerce platforms, particularly Shopify, and familiarity with marketplace operations on Amazon, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace are highly desirable. A strong grasp of SEO techniques, web analytics tools like Google Analytics 4, GTM, and Search Console, and content creation skills are necessary. Additionally, proficiency in design tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop, along with knowledge of HTML and data hygiene practices, will set candidates apart. The ideal applicant should be highly resourceful, independent, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

The role encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities designed to optimize digital marketing efforts and ecommerce operations:

  • End-to-End Campaign Management: Develop comprehensive campaign plans, manage execution, and monitor performance across SEM, social media advertising, and native ad platforms. Optimize campaigns to meet conversion targets and maximize ROAS.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Conduct keyword research, perform technical and on-page SEO, and implement link-building strategies to enhance website authority and visibility. Manage site health through Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • Ecommerce & Marketplace Operations: Manage Shopify storefronts, including product listings, app integrations, and CRO initiatives. Oversee brand growth on Amazon, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace, ensuring all listings are optimized for search and sales.
  • Email Marketing & Automation: Set up, test, and deploy email campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp, Zoho Campaigns, and Klaviyo. Troubleshoot technical issues related to templates, segmentation, and data hygiene.
  • Content, Copywriting & Design: Create engaging visual assets using Canva and Adobe tools. Write blogs, articles, newsletters, and ad copy that resonate with target audiences and support marketing objectives.
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking: Utilize Google Analytics 4, GTM, and Facebook Pixels to track campaign performance. Generate reports, analyze data, and provide insights to stakeholders. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure lead quality and sales targets are achieved.
