Why this role exists
We've hosted leadership teams from Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, Amazon and PepsiCo. We're building India's first culinary tourism accelerator, backed by the Government of Telangana and the Netherlands. We've put 6,000+ children through our kitchen at Orange Figs. We've documented Telugu regional cuisine in ways nobody else has. And this deserves better story telling. Our goodwill is real and our digital presence has to reflect it better. Clients who should be finding us aren't.
You're being hired to change that and to build a marketing engine that turns reputation into predictable revenue.
Your responsibilitiesA. Corporate team engagement (our largest revenue line)
- Build and maintain a target list of 300+ decision-makers HR heads, HRBPs, EAs, culture and L&D leads across Hyderabad's GCCs, IT parks and corporate offices
- Run outbound LinkedIn and email sequences to this list every week and own the response and follow-up cycle
- Write and publish 2 client case studies per month from events we've delivered (the story, the outcome, the client quote)
- Own our LinkedIn company page and the founder's LinkedIn presence , minimum 3 posts a week between them, written by you
- Rank us on Google for the searches that matter: corporate team outing Hyderabad, team building activity Hyderabad, corporate offsite Hyderabad and 15–20 similar terms
- Run paid campaigns on LinkedIn and Google with a defined monthly budget, and report cost per qualified lead every month
- Build and maintain a proper CRM every enquiry logged, staged, followed up, and reported on
- Produce the sales collateral: proposal decks, one-pagers, pricing sheets, post-event reports
- Capture content at events, photos, video, testimonials and turn each event into at least one reel, one carousel and one case study
B. Telugu culinary IP
- Audit and organise a decade of existing research into a publishable content library
- Publish 4 long-form pieces a month on our website, regional dishes, techniques, ingredient histories, producer stories
- Build the SEO architecture so this work ranks for Telugu and Telangana cuisine searches nationally
- Produce one documented video series (recipes, producer visits, heritage stories) with a fixed publishing calendar
- Pitch this work to food media, cultural publications and journalists, target 6 earned placements a year
- Turn the research into commercial assets: downloadable guides, a newsletter, workshop material, partnership decks
C. Orange Figs (children's culinary school)
- Own the full enrolment funnel: awareness enquiry trial enrolment renewal, with conversion tracked at each stage
- Fill every cohort from our own channels — set the target with the founder each term and hit it
- Run parent-focused campaigns on Instagram and Meta ads, plus school and community partnerships
- Build and run a WhatsApp and email parent community — weekly value, not just announcements
- Produce the content that sells this: kids cooking, parent testimonials, before-and-after stories, cohort recaps
- Design and run the referral programme (every enrolled parent brings one)
D. Marketing infrastructure and AI
- Set up analytics properly: GA4, pixels, UTM discipline, and a single dashboard the founder can read in five minutes
- Report monthly on leads, sources, conversion rates, CAC and revenue attributed to marketing
- Build AI into daily workflow — content drafting, research, personalisation, campaign variants, repurposing — and document how
- Own the website: content, SEO, page speed, conversion paths and landing pages for each service line
- Maintain the content calendar across all three verticals, published on time, every week
E. Team building (from month 6 onwards)
- Identify where you need help first — likely video, then design
- Hire and manage freelancers or interns within an agreed budget
- Build the systems and SOPs so quality holds as the team grows
What success looks like
By month 3 — CRM live, analytics working, target list built, outbound running, publishing consistently across all three verticals.
By month 6 — Inbound corporate enquiries measurably up, first media placements landed, Orange Figs enrolments coming through our own funnel, cost per lead established and improving.
By month 12 — A pipeline with numbers attached, corporate enquiries arriving inbound rather than chased, cohorts filling without word-of-mouth dependency, our Telugu research published and ranking, and one or two people working under you.
What we're not looking for
Someone who posts to Instagram and calls it marketing. You'll be hands-on for the first year — writing, shooting, running campaigns, reading the numbers. You'll build the team after you've built the results.
You're right for this if
- 4–7 years in digital marketing with growth you can point to and prove
- You've run performance campaigns and can talk about CAC, conversion and attribution without flinching
- You write well — copy, case studies, long-form
- You can shoot and edit basic content yourself (a phone and good instincts are enough)
- You use AI tools daily and have opinions about them
- Background in hospitality, F&B, education, experiences or premium consumer brands is a plus
- Portfolio matters more than pedigree
What you get
Direct access to the founder and real decision-making authority. A brand with genuine substance to amplify. Freedom to build the function and the team. Compensation with a performance component tied to the pipeline you create.
