1. Role purpose
The Junior Digital Marketing Analyst - SEO will support the execution of the company's organic growth strategy by improving website visibility, search rankings, and inbound traffic quality. The role is focused on practical SEO implementation across website pages, blogs, landing pages, and reporting systems.
This position is best suited for a detail-oriented, analytical, and execution-driven professional who understands SEO fundamentals and can work across content, analytics, and website optimization tasks with discipline and accuracy.
The ideal candidate should hold at least one recognized SEO certification from a credible provider such as HubSpot or Semrush. Google does not currently offer a dedicated standalone SEO certification, though Google Analytics and related Skillshop certifications remain valuable complements for this role.

The role is expected to contribute to the following business outcomes:
- Improve organic visibility for priority website pages and content
- Support growth in qualified organic traffic
- Improve CTR, keyword rankings, and landing page performance
- Strengthen SEO hygiene across content and technical implementation
- Provide reliable reporting and actionable insights from SEO data
- Improve coordination between marketing, content, and website teams for SEO execution
3. Key responsibilities
A. SEO execution
- Conduct keyword research for website pages, blogs, landing pages, and content clusters
- Map keywords to relevant pages based on search intent and business relevance
- Execute on-page SEO improvements including title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text, and internal linking
- Refresh existing content to improve ranking potential, engagement, and relevance
- Identify low-performing pages and recommend SEO improvements
- Support content optimization initiatives using SEO best practices
B. Content and page optimization
- Prepare SEO briefs for new content and content updates
- Ensure page content aligns with keyword strategy and search intent
- Assist in improving readability, structure, and topical coverage of pages
- Identify thin, duplicate, outdated, or cannibalizing content and recommend corrective actions
- Work with internal or external writers to ensure SEO requirements are properly implemented
C. Technical SEO support
- Monitor website health for key technical SEO issues
- Identify indexing issues, crawl errors, broken links, redirect chains, duplicate pages, and basic page speed concerns
- Use tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and PageSpeed Insights to identify and log issues
- Coordinate with developers to ensure technical fixes are correctly understood and implemented
- Support maintenance of sitemap hygiene, canonical consistency, and robots directives where applicable
D. Analytics and reporting
- Track SEO performance across traffic, impressions, clicks, CTR, rankings, and conversions
- Analyze data from Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights, trends, and next steps
- Identify quick-win opportunities such as high-impression, low-CTR pages
- Maintain SEO trackers, audit sheets, task logs, and performance dashboards
E. Competitor and SERP research
- Analyze competitor pages, content strategies, and organic search presence
- Review SERP patterns to understand what type of content is ranking
- Identify content gaps and opportunity areas based on market and search behavior
- Share actionable recommendations to improve competitive search performance
F. Cross-functional coordination
- Work closely with content, design, development, and marketing teams
- Translate SEO findings into simple and actionable tasks
- Follow up on execution timelines and ensure implementation quality
- Maintain organized documentation of SEO actions and outcomes

5. Required qualifications
Educational background
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related discipline preferred
- Equivalent practical experience may be considered where hands-on SEO capability is strong
Professional experience
- 2-4 year of relevant experience in SEO, digital marketing, website optimization, or content marketing
- Internship, freelance, or project-based SEO experience may be considered if practical work quality is strong
