About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Manager who will lead OEM-led, data-driven marketing strategies to strengthen the Honda brand and accelerate sales growth for both four-wheel and two-wheel products in India.
Anchored in deep customer understanding, you will leverage digital platforms and data to design and drive direct, OEM-owned marketing initiatives. In this role, you will lead the execution of rapid PDCA cycles through a sustainable and scalable process, continuously optimizing marketing performance and business impact.
What will you do
・Define marketing issues and strategies by working backward from business objectives, based on a deep understanding of market and competitive trends as well as customer pains and gains, to drive business growth.
・Define marketing objectives tied to business KPIs (e.g., sales volume, revenue) and own the delivery of results.
・Design and operationalize a KPI framework to measure marketing's business impact, and build dashboards/visibility for ongoing performance tracking.
・Leverage data and technology to drive customer acquisition and lead management, including lead generation for new prospects and nurturing for in-market customers.
・Lead the planning and execution of new model launches and monthly campaigns, overseeing end-to-end operations and performance optimization.
・Build and continuously improve the digital marketing foundation and operating model, including processes, tools, and governance to enable scalable execution.
・Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Product, IT, agencies, dealers) to drive OEM-led, data-driven marketing and accelerate decision-making and execution.
Your Profile
・12+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, with demonstrated impact on business growth.
・3+ years of experience in a people management or managerial role.
・Proven experience leveraging customer analytics from multiple perspectives based on hypotheses and translating insights into executable marketing initiatives.
・Strong experience beyond awareness-driven advertising, including integrated planning, execution, and PDCA across owned platforms and dealer-led campaigns/operations to drive conversions.
・Proven track record of owning business KPIs (e.g., sales volume, revenue) and leading performance improvement and results delivery.
・Hands-on experience working with customer data analytics teams to co-design and operate data-driven marketing initiatives.
・Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives by aligning and influencing internal and external stakeholders, including Sales, IT, agencies, and partners.
・Practical experience in mobility, automotive, or B2C industries.
・Strong Field-oriented mindset—able to create value by understanding on-the-ground realities and engaging through open dialogue.
・Ability to think critically while acting with speed and agility in a fast-changing environment.
・English proficiency required (written and verbal).
