Job Title: Performance Marketing Specialist
About the Role
Hiring a dedicated performance-marketing specialist — someone who lives in the ad accounts and makes budgets work. You own paid campaigns end-to-end: you come up with the strategy, build them, run them, optimise daily, and report on what's working. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who genuinely loves the craft of running ads.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, launch and run paid campaigns end-to-end — mainly Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube) — from strategy through daily optimisation to scaling.
- Own the strategy, don't just take orders — audience and keyword research, campaign structure, creative angles, budget and bidding plan — you devise it and then execute it.
- Optimise every day against real business outcomes — orders, leads, CPA/CPL, CAC, ROAS (and ACOS/TACOS on marketplaces) — reconciled to actual revenue, not vanity metrics.
- Plan and manage budgets — pace spend, protect the cap, shift budget to what's working.
- Brief the creative team — tell our designers and video editor exactly what ad creative you need and why, then test it properly (A/B, iterate).
- Report clearly — a weekly performance note and a monthly report per client, tied to real orders/leads, in language a client understands.
- Keep tracking trustworthy — coordinate conversion tracking (pixel / Conversions API / Google tags / UTMs) with our tech team so the numbers can be relied on.
What You Must Have (Required)
- 2–5 years hands-on paid-media experience, with at least 70% of that time on performance/paid advertising (not split across social media, content or SEO).
- Proven hands-on delivery on both Meta Ads and Google Ads — you've built and optimised campaigns yourself on real, live budgets.
- A working command of the metrics — you plan and report against CPA/CPL, CAC, ROAS, CTR and conversion rate, and you know when a campaign is genuinely profitable (break-even ROAS, AOV, margin).
- Fluency in the core tools — Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 (GA4), and spreadsheets (Excel / Google Sheets).
- A basic, correct understanding of conversion tracking — Meta Pixel & Conversions API (CAPI), Google conversion tags, and UTM discipline (enough to spot broken tracking and brief a developer to fix it).
- Strong written English and clear communication — you'll report to Indian and international clients.
- Self-driven and analytical — you work from data, manage your own campaigns, and don't need chasing.
Nice to Have
- Marketplaces & quick-commerce ads — Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products / Brands / Display, ACOS/TACOS), Blinkit, Myntra, Meesho, Zepto / Instamart.
- Additional paid channels — TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, X (Twitter) Ads.
- Shopify / WooCommerce — product feeds, Google Merchant Center, catalog / dynamic (DPA) ads.
- Deeper tracking & reporting — server-side / CAPI setup, Looker Studio / Google Data Studio dashboards.
- Agency background — comfortable running paid campaigns across several accounts/clients at once.
