Role Overview
As Digital Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day digital marketing activities across organic and owned channels. Working within the marketing strategy and direction set by leadership, you will translate plans into consistent, high-quality execution across social media, email, content, community, and events. This is an execution-focused role for a proactive and independent professional who can take a brief from concept through to delivery, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and on schedule.

As Digital Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day digital marketing activities across organic and owned channels. Key Responsibilities
Social Media
- Manage social media channels end-to-end, including content creation, publishing, scheduling, and ORM.
- Monitor channel performance and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and follower growth.
- Execute email marketing through HubSpot, including nurture campaigns, newsletters, announcements, promotional campaigns, and event communications.
- Build emails, lists, segmentation, workflows, forms, and basic automation within HubSpot.
- Monitor campaign performance and maintain basic reporting on engagement and conversions.
- Manage and execute marketing content calendar end-to-end.
- Write and edit high-quality B2B content across social media, email, blogs, website pages, testimonials, interviews, and campaigns.
- Adapt content to defined brand voice and audience.
- Publish and schedule approved content across owned channels.
- Keep website content accurate and up to date.
- Use AI tools confidently across research, ideation, writing, editing, repurposing, and content production while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand voice.
- Create and adapt digital marketing creatives for day-to-day requirements.
- Produce basic marketing videos and short-form video content for digital channels.
- Work with EC-Council's design or specialist teams for requirements that need additional creative support.
- Plan webinars and lead-generation events.
- Set up registration pages/forms, HubSpot campaigns, attendee workflows, reminder communications, and post-event follow-ups.
- Coordinate with speakers, hosts, and internal teams to ensure events are marketing-ready.
- The role is responsible for event marketing execution and setup rather than hosting or fronting the events.
- Conduct and coordinate interviews with learners, customers, subject-matter experts, and industry contributors.
- Develop an ongoing pipeline of testimonials, customer stories, interviews, and community-led content.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of the Voices contributor program, including contributor coordination, content collection, and publishing.
- Support SEO, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and paid marketing initiatives managed by specialist teams.
- Implement relevant content recommendations and provide campaign assets or support as required.
- 3–4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, with significant experience in producing, building, publishing, and executing marketing activities.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to work within a clearly defined brand voice.
- AI-native approach to marketing, confident using modern AI tools and platforms to improve speed and quality without producing generic or low-quality content.
- Strong working knowledge of social media as a business and marketing channel.
- Hands-on HubSpot experience, particularly with email campaigns, lists, workflows, forms, and basic reporting.
- Strong design capabilities and the ability to independently produce day-to-day digital marketing creatives.
- Ability to create and edit basic marketing videos and short-form video content.
- Experience managing content calendars and publishing across multiple digital channels.
- Basic familiarity with CMS platforms and website content updates.
- Working knowledge of SEO and paid media concepts and terminology.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- High-output, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while taking direction and collaborating effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in insurance, cybersecurity, EdTech, professional training, or certification businesses.
- Experience running contributor, advocacy, ambassador, or community-content programs.
- Experience conducting customer, learner, or subject-matter expert interviews.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, Canva, and other commonly used digital marketing tools.
