Job Description:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive who can support end-to-end execution of SEO and content activities, helping turn strategy into shipped work across websites, blogs, email, and basic analytics. You will work closely with the founder on priorities and be responsible for implementing on-page SEO, producing and optimizing content, and supporting monthly performance reporting.
The ideal candidate has 24 years of hands-on experience in SEO and content marketing, is comfortable managing multiple tasks in parallel, and is curious about using AI tools to research, draft, and optimize content more efficiently. This role is execution-heavy, with a strong focus on consistency, accountability, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO & On-Page Optimization: Implement SEO best practices across websites, including keyword research, metadata, headings, internal linking, and content structure to improve organic visibility and rankings.
- Schema & Structured Data:Assist in planning and implementing schema markup (e.g., Organization, Service, FAQ, Article, LocalBusiness) to improve rich results, entity understanding, and visibility in AI/LLM-powered search experiences.
- Content Creation & Optimization: Draft, edit, and optimize blog posts, landing page copy, and resource content based on strategic briefs and keyword plans, ensuring clarity, cohesion, and search alignment.
- Email Marketing Support: Prepare newsletter content and basic nurture emails, coordinate with design for visuals, schedule sends, and help review performance metrics to suggest improvements.
- Basic CRO & UX Support: Assist in reviewing key pages (forms, landing pages, program pages) for clarity, message match, and friction points, and document recommendations for improvements.
- Analytics & Reporting: Pull data from tools like Google Analytics and Search Console, maintain simple dashboards, and support monthly performance summaries (traffic, rankings, conversions, key insights).
- Content Publishing: Upload and format content in WordPress or similar CMS, ensuring clean layouts, correct linking, and basic on-page SEO settings.
- Research & Benchmarking: Conduct light competitor, SERP, and keyword research, gather examples and references, and support the creation of content and SEO briefs.
- AI-Assisted Workflows: Use AI tools (under guidance) to accelerate research, first-draft copy, content outlines, and QA checks, while maintaining editorial judgment and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO and content writing (freelance, agency, or in-house experience all welcome).
- Practical familiarity with on-page SEO, keyword research, and basic technical checks (e.g., indexing issues, broken links, simple site audits).
- Exposure to or interest in structured data and schema markup, and a willingness to learn how it supports rich results and AI/LLM understanding.
- Experience working with major analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) and comfort reading basic performance dashboards.
- Working knowledge of a CMS (preferably WordPress) for publishing, formatting, and updating website content.
- Strong writing skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone for different formats (blog, landing pages, email, social snippets, FAQs, etc).
- A genuine interest in AI-assisted marketing and a willingness to experiment with new tools and workflows responsibly.
- High attention to detail, reliable follow-through, and comfort working in a remote, asynchronous environment.
- Strong soft skills: clear communication, openness to feedback, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage priorities with minimal micromanagement.
