Job Description for a Digital Marketing Executive
Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing, implementing,
and optimizing digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, lead
generation, and customer engagement across online platforms. The role requires a
mix of creativity, analytical thinking, and strong execution skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Strategy & Campaign Management
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels such as
Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Display Networks
Develop SEO/SEM strategies to improve website ranking and organic traffic
Manage social media campaigns, calendars, and content across platforms
(Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube)
2. Content Creation & Management
Coordinate with designers/writers to create digital content (posts, reels,
videos, blogs, emailers)
Optimize content for SEO and engagement
Ensure brand consistency across all digital communications
3. Website & SEO Management
Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search
Console, and Hotjar
Identify and execute on-page and off-page SEO opportunities
Collaborate with developers for website updates and improvements
4. Analytics & Reporting
Track campaign performance and create weekly/monthly reports
Use data insights to optimize ongoing campaigns
Monitor KPIs such as CTR, CPC, CPL, conversions, and ROI
5. Social Media & Community Engagement
Manage social media pages and respond to comments/messages
Work on growing followers, engagement, and community interaction
Monitor trends to create relevant and timely content
6. Email Marketing & Automation
Create and execute email marketing campaigns
Manage CRM tools and marketing automation workflows
Build segmented mailing lists for targeted campaigns
7. Competitor & Market Research
Research market trends, audience behaviour, and competitor strategies
Suggest improvements to digital marketing efforts based on insights
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
13 years of experience in digital marketing (freshers with strong skills may
also apply)
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content
marketing, and analytics
Hands-on experience with tools like Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google
Analytics, Canva/Photoshop, and CRM systems
Excellent communication and copywriting skills
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work in a team
Salary can be the prevailing market rate.
