Position overview

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Digital Marketing CRM and Automation Specialist to design and execute impactful automated journeys that elevate the experience of our certified members database and community ecosystem. This role is central to driving engagement, ensuring timely and personalized communication, and building meaningful touchpoints across the member and chapter lifecycle.

The role will support both Membership Experience initiatives (including engagement and annual fee renewal) and Chapter programs, ensuring consistent communication, onboarding, and engagement for members, chapter participants, and leadership groups. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing onboarding journeys, engagement campaigns, newsletters, workflows, segmentation strategies, and performance analytics using platforms such as Zoho, MoEngage, HubSpot, and/or similar tools.

You will work closely with Community, Chapters, Marketing, IT and Operations teams to ensure automated journeys, data segmentation, and engagement strategies align with program goals, governance requirements, and regional chapter needs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and implement automated onboarding, renewal, and engagement journeys for certified members and chapter participants.
  • Develop advanced segmentation models based on certification type, geography, chapter affiliation, activity levels, engagement behavior, and renewal cycles.
  • Create, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across email, WhatsApp, push notifications, website touchpoints, and re-engagement funnels.
  • Plan, manage, and deliver monthly newsletters tailored to distinct member and chapter segments.
  • Maintain and continuously refine CRM scoring and tagging frameworks to classify active, inactive, dormant, at-risk, and high-value members.
  • Plan and execute A/B tests to optimize messaging, timing, channels, and CTAs; track and improve campaign performance.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor engagement, conversion, renewal, and retention trends across members and chapters.
  • Partner closely with Chapter teams to integrate chapter updates, initiatives, events, and announcements into automated journeys and communication flows.

Job Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Zoho/ Moengage/HubSpot/Salesforce, and/or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing, automation logic, and customer journey design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid data analytics capabilities using tools such as Google Analytics, Moengage Analytics, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of user lifecycle journeys and member engagement strategies.
  • Basic HTML skills for email formatting (preferable but not mandatory).
  • 5-6 years of experience in digital marketing, CRM and Automation operations, retention marketing, or related roles.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Chapters, and Product.
  • High attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in campaign setup, targeting, and reporting.
  • Adaptability to learn new tools, automation platforms, and engagement technologies as needed.
  • Basic knowledge/use of generative AI Tools like ChatGPT, Gemini etc.,
