Your key responsibilities:
Enhance and maintain electronic trading platforms withing the bank (eplatforms) which support Rates products, working closely with Trading, Sales and Technology teams.
Analyze client flow, pricing behavior, liquidity, and market impact across Rates products on these platforms.
Partner closely with the Algos desk, Trading, Sales, and Technology teams to enhance the Spot and Rates electronic trading offering from idea generation through delivery.
Generate, back-test, and analyze trades execution ideas across Rates markets, evaluating performance under different market regimes.
Own and manage analytics initiatives and book of work end-to-end, including requirements gathering, prioritization, delivery timelines, stakeholder communication, and postimplementation review.
Drive projects ensuring deliverables are met on time, dependencies are managed, and outputs meet business and control standards.
Your skills and experience:
Product Knowledge
Rates Product knowledge - good understanding of Rates Products, pricing especially on Electronic Platforms
Statistical knowledge - Fair understanding of statistical methods used in trading and data analysis
Fair understanding of macro economic indicators associated with the product
Project Management Skills
Partner with Business and other functions to implement revenue-related initiatives.
Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality. This includes defining project scope, setting objectives, managing resources, and tracking progress against timelines, especially for initiatives aimed at driving revenue.
Technical Skills:
Graduate / Post - Graduate with a degree in engineering/mathematics or computer sciences is required
Five to seven years of experience, preferably in a top-tier investment bank or consulting
Strong working knowledge of Python is required. Q/ KDB skills are preferred
Knowledge of creating scripts using Python and Big Data framework to clean and load data
Understanding of quantitative aspects of the products and associated risks
Good to have
ML/AI experience
Experience in Q/KDB
Exposure to application development
