Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Digital Forensics Specialist to join a cybersecurity delivery team supporting a critical SOC-as-a-Service engagement for the Slovenian Ministry of Defence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting forensic investigations, supporting incident response activities, and assisting with cyberattack recovery efforts while working closely with the SOC team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct digital forensic investigations following cybersecurity incidents.

• Support incident response activities during and after security events.

• Assist in disaster recovery and post-incident analysis.

• Document forensic findings and contribute to incident reports.

• Support the development and maintenance of incident response procedures.

• Participate in quarterly review meetings and critical on-site interventions in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Qualifications

• GCFE (GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner) or GCFA (GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst) certification.

• Experience with Microsoft Sentinel or Splunk Enterprise Security (ES).

• Strong understanding of digital forensics, incident response, and cybersecurity operations.

• Willingness to undergo security vetting and travel periodically to Slovenia.
